For years now, DAS TEPPICHWERK have been using recycled materials in their products.The aim is to continue increasing the proportion of recycled material in their products over the long term. Depending on the design, it is now possible to use up to 70% recycled material per product.
For example, in the TEXtiles carpet tile and the SL SONIC, the backing is made from 100% recycled material, as is the Sonic fleece. Furthermore, by using a fibre specially sourced from Aquafil called Econyl®, which is largely made from old fishing nets collected from the world’s oceans, the proportion of recycled material can be increased even further.
