DAS TEPPICHWERK GmbH & Co. KG has operated under this name since January 2025. Until February 2020, the company was known as Vorwerk & Co. Teppichwerke GmbH and has been run as an independent company outside the Vorwerk Group (Wuppertal) since 2020.

The company is based in Hamelin, where product development, production, quality management and administration are based.
With around 150 employees, we look back with pride on a history of over 140 years and look to the future with confidence and entrepreneurial spirit.

Managing Partner Tobias Arnold

Originally a lawyer, Tobias Arnold expanded his knowledge by earning an MBA before joining the Vorwerk Group in 2012. There, he was initially responsible for business development in category management.

In January 2019, he assumed the position of Vice President of Finance and Controlling at Vorwerk® Teppichwerke. As one of three members of the former executive board of Vorwerk Teppichwerke, he took over the company in September 2020 as part of a management buyout and has been the managing partner of the company ever since.
